1. Overview
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of the MAX2C4D software plugin (“Software”), developed and sold by Rémi (“Author”, “we”, “us”). By purchasing or using the Software, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. License Grant
Upon purchase, you are granted a 1-year, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software on up to 2 (two) machines simultaneously (e.g., office workstation and home computer). The license is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase (e.g., a license purchased on March 29, 2026 expires on March 29, 2027). The license is personal and may not be shared, resold, sublicensed, or transferred to another person or entity.
3. Payment
Payment is processed through Polar.sh, a third-party payment provider. All prices are in USD. Payment is a one-time fee — there is no recurring subscription. Polar.sh handles invoicing and payment processing under their own terms of service.
4. License Activation
The Software requires online activation. Each license key may be activated on up to 2 machines. The Software includes a 7-day offline grace period, after which an internet connection is required to re-validate the license.
5. Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied with the Software for any reason, you may request a full refund by contacting contact@max2c4d.com. See our Refund Policy for full details.
6. Intellectual Property
The Software, including all code, design, documentation, and related materials, is the intellectual property of the Author. Your license grants usage rights only — no ownership, modification rights, or reverse engineering rights are transferred.
7. Disclaimer of Warranty
The Software is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The Author does not warrant that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the Author be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of the Software. The Author's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the Software license.
9. Prohibited Uses
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
- Distribute, share, or make the Software available to third parties
- Use the Software for any unlawful purpose
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
10. Updates
All updates released during your 1-year license period are included at no additional cost.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
